NKRO isn't for typing? Someone is a slow typist ^.^
Blank keys are sexy. Plus, use logic. If you don't look down at your keyboard, do you really need anything there? Unless of course you're Ghot and can only type like a gorilla (no offense ghot, you know it's true), printed keycaps are not needed.
We have gotten pretty elitist about keyboards around here, and I honestly think its a good thing. Keyboards are the most used item of your computer (apart from the mouse), but it usually gets as much attention as power supplies (which are equally important).
Just think about it for a sec. Would you rather spend $80 on a keyboard that would last maybe 5 years and start to feel shitty after a few, or spend $100-150 and have a keyboard that will feel new for 10+ years?
*numbers involving times are estimations and are varied depending on how much you type.
I gotta agree with this.
I've gone through so many keyboards before I went mechanical. Of course they were always really cheap rubber membrane, but then again all rubbers domes are essentially manufactured the same. There is probably very little difference from a $20 board and a $100 FANCY LIGHTS N SCREENS N SHIT CAAWWW OOOO DDOOODDDYYY Logitech/Razer board
Now my words per minute, accuracy, etc have all gone up and best of all I never have to replace this board in the foreseeable future.
And I only spent $100 on it since I got the student discount through Das.
