History:

Got the 63 Buick free...immaculate...and blew it up 3 days later, racing a Camaro...at 150mph+...shattered 7 of 8 pistons, but I smoked that Camaro :/

Got the 65 Tbird for $300 from friend of family...immaculate...went in the service, let my brother use it...came back 2 years later...it was all rusted out, among other things :/

Got the 67 Mustang for $2200....immaculate....sucker would do 90mph in 2nd gear, had it for 3 months...his a 20 ton county dump truck...totaled it. :(

Got the 69 Torino from g/f's mom for $600...immaculate...drove it for 10 years or so....sold it for $1000.

Got the 74 Malibu for $1500 from used car lot...immaculate...drove it for about 7 years...missed a hairline crack on the head, when changing the head gasket...blew that sucker all to hell...water in the cylinders.

Got the 75 Torino for a Stereo system, worth about $2000...immaculate...drove it for about 5 years...sold it for $3500.

Got the 76 El Camino for $2200 from friend in the service...immaculate...drove it for about 5 years...sold it for $4000.

True story ^^

Then in 1986...I wised up and started buying new Toyota pickups....they never broke, and got WAY better gas mileage. lol

Yea, Those toyotas seem to last forever, And since they're so popular, Lift / replacement parts are super easy / cheap to find.

Yea, I know a few people with them, He hit like 230k miles & just rebuilt the engine.

Havent really had any problems with my jeeps engine though, Other than leaking a little oil (too lazy to rip apart the engine just to replace the back main seal or w/e its leaking from)

QQ

I want to go wheeling again soon.
