usually same shit every year. not much changes. atleast, for the big stores like best buy and walmart. i can't do it though man... I've done it like twice, who the hell would go through all that chaos and hours in line... nty i'll pay higher dollar to NOT go through all that.

many complaints about DA/SA on hammer pistols, since they are often DA/SA. i really don't mind it, it's good to have a heavier trigger on the first shot so that you KNOW it's intentional. but as far as a strictly range gun, definitely single action all day. double action only is also fine on a good trigger, the S&W tactical .40 we carried at Brink's was a good trigger.

Rikou, a 1911 is always going to be single action only. that means hammer is always back, with a very light trigger pull. you can carry cocked and locked, but i doubt this is for CCW or anything so really wouldn't matter. :)


i needa get a light mount for my PX4. i've grabbed it a few times cause i heard something in the house, would be good to have a focus light or even strobe.

Strobe would be nice indeed. You can get DA/SA 1911.Just look around. In fact, in pretty sure you can get anything 1911 now days.

I want a 1611 cap and ball hand cannon. :rofl:

oh wow didn't know you can get DA on a 1911, pretty cool :) yeah its like owning a Glock, gonna be options up the wazoo available.

i need a higher paying armed job, that's my goal for next year. my pay is a joke.

It will be for a little bit of CCW, Pretty sure i'm going to buy the xdm 45 night sights, Lil above my budget.. But looks well worth it. $680~ shipped T__T
