Smith & Wesson M&P ( some love the look, but i don't. the swapable grips is nice though, and you can get colored and custom made ones )

Beretta PX4 ( my gun, LOVE IT! just wish it had more options for Level III holsters, but you won't be dealing with that )

Glock ( don't ask me which, their all reliable so ask a gun clerk. i don't like them though. )

you can even go a little cheaper and get something like a Ruger LC9. all the above are below 600$. keep in mind, tax and record of sales fee when purchasing. if it were me, it'd either be the XDs or PX4.

i feel the need to get a revolver! i've never shot one, isn't that crazy? i want an old colt or S&W though hehe.

Taurus isn't bad. They were the first to incorporate .44 mag and 410 IIRC. The Taurus Judge it was called.



I like HK and SIG-Saurer but I don't know about 1911. Maybe a P239 super compact in .40 S&W.



P226 is super nice. 11.1 cm full sized barrel. The P229 compact is the continuum/revision of the P228 using a 9.9 cm barrel. It has been said the 229 is what the 228 should have been in the first place. Then you have the P239 which is a super/sub compact.

Need more info than a price. Any perticular trigger pull, mag capacity, size round, barrel length, weight, etc?

don't expect a big capacity from a .45 ACP if you were in CA, you'd be capped at 10 anyways haha. also consider, striker fired or hammered. which one is for you? i personally don't like striker fired, always prefer a hammer. also, double action, single or a DA/SA? things to consider.

certain models from Taurus have had many many bad reviews. but hey, if it shoots then it's all good reliability is just a high priority to me.

if i get my CCW, i may consider getting a Beretta nano cool lil gun!

i wish you guys weren't all so far. a shooting meet would be pretty cool
