If my calculations are correct, using the distance between Hotel floors as 10ft. ...the the tank is approx. 50' D x 80' H (just the water) ....then the area of the base ( Pi times r^2) times the height would give me the cubic feet of water in the tank.

Using this convertor.... http://www.asknumbers.com/CubicFeetToGallon.aspx ...gives us 1.2 million gallons of water.



At 8.2 lbs. per gallon, that's 4,920 tons of water.
