Superlux HD681 + AntLion ModMic.

I've read so many bad reviews about the antlion from people who have bought them. Apparently they don't work at all with some asus motherboards and most people describe the sound as being at the end of a long tunnel.

I wonder if anyone who even tells people to buy them owns one.

i have a mod mic and im just gunna say its nothing more than a zalman clip on with a stick on it

Aren't the different versions of the modmic different microphone types?

but for 50 dollars the mic quality is so bad, can get a snowball which i originally bought then returned cause md had the mod mic

yeah most people I know eventually grab a desktop mic when their zalman breaks, or another zalman

Asus motherboards (or at least some) expects a line level input and not a mic level or something alone those lines. With that being said the mod mic will work, but due to this it will have incredibly low volume as most microphone jacks actually send voltage to the capsule to help amplify it.

Did anyone ever end up getting one of these? If so, thoughts on it? I'm looking for reasonably priced dac/amp.
