Put your 120mm AIO water cooler on the top in the front...near the optical drive if you have one...as intake. The top fan mount near the optical drive is the most unused air flow area.
Perfect place for a 120mm rad.

/e In that location you could mount it as intake or exhaust...it really wouldn't matter.

Well yeah. For that one I'd guess about 40% goes out the back, the rest leaks out the sides. :/

/e Still...like Rikuo said, it takes a lot more than that to mess up an AIO cooler. :)

Just do NOT put in as rear intake, that WILL suck IN all the power supply exhaust and w/e does manage to get exhausted out the back of the vid card.

How would a rear intake suck up the psu exaust? Dafuq?

I mean i would do rear intake just because it can fuck up the airflow of the case....

Cause the PSU exhausts a lot of hot air out the back...and heat rises. Feel the back of your PSU, when it's loaded.

/e This is what happens when ppl put their towers on the floor, in a corner, where they can't get to the back of the comp...easily. They never discover these things. :)

Any other CPU cooler suggestions before I buy an AIO cooler? £40 or less, max height 155mm.

Didn't bother to read the posts but just a FYI a 212 EVO performs well against all AIO coolers up until you reach the 100$ price point. At least it did since I was looking at them 4 months ago. New cheaper coolers or current sales might of happened.

I don't expect anyone to read through 12 pages lol but a 212 EVO and most other good coolers wont fit in my case, but there's an AIO on sale (Corsair H45) which according to this review beats the H60 and the 212 EVO: http://www.ukgamingcomputers.co.uk/corsair-hydro-h45-review-a-89.html

From what I've read the 212 evo holds its own up to the h100 series. Although if it doesn't fit in your case then that's that.

To be honest were talking like +- 7C on loads here between a high end $100 AIO cooler and the 212. Even if the h45 performs worse or on par and costs more than a 212 evo, if the 212 wont fit in your case it doesn't matter.

Either way buy what fits. Anything after market would be good at this point and will perform roughly the same.

Just incase anyone is interested, the Corsair H45 seems to be working quite well.

Non overclocked CPU temps with i5-6500:

Stock cooler, plus two front intake and one rear exhaust fan.
Idle mid 30s
Full load high 50s

Corsair H45, fited as a rear intake with the fan pulling air into the case, plus two top exhausts, and two front intakes.
Idle low 20's
Full load high 30's/low 40's

The only bad point so far is that the fan that comes with the cooler is a bit loud at full speed. Impressive drop in temperature though, and that's just a 120mm rad with a single fan pulling air through the rad and some foam acting as an air filter.

Price vs performance, it was less than £10 more than a CM 212 EVO, and according to a review it beats the older Corsair H60, and the CM 212 EVO.
