I would love some reading material on this..

So you're telling me every Ram manufacturer is lying about ram speeds?

The base clock of RAM has stayed around 200MHz or so for years now; for example DDR-400, DDR2-800, and DDR3-1600 all run at 200MHz:

Guys.. Its was posted a month ago... It's a april fools 'review' lol

Its the effective rate.

My ddr4 is 3000mhz

that's why i thought it was satire, i'm like w0t

It's 3000 million cycles per second.

also known as 3 billion

Lasers don't matter in mice, they're all the same.

The problem with lasers in mice seems to be that the lasers are too precise, which makes them too sensitive to surface roughness, so they tend to not track as consistently as incoherent light mice.

which is why we get mice with optical sensors

Laser mice are optical, too, but I know what you mean.

Nah, it's 3000million.

But what if I place a magazine under the mice? Those are pretty smooth right and provide for good tracking?

That article did not mention "200mhz" anywhere in it, and even specifies DDR4 running at 800-1600mhz. (0.8-1.6ghz)

DDR4 operates at a voltage of 1.2 V with a frequency between 800 and 1600 MHz,

Literally from that link.

is he thinking base frequency means ram doesn't actually run at like 3000mhz etc?
