Nice pull up google statistics - genius.
I know what i make. Your statistics are for certified plumbers and you can see an apprentice makes more then that.
Capish?
Mine is an average.. over the entirety of canada.. you live in an expensive area (toronto) and make 30$ an hour.. 2$ over the national average for certified plumbers..
math dictates that at 100% (fully certified you will make 42.94$ per hour.. which is 89315.2 per year.. before taxes.. canada's average tax is is 15% for the toronto area.. thats all deductions on your paycheck.. that means yearly you are deducted 13397.28
Which means your base pay after taxes .. as a fully certified plumber is
75917.92
And thats based on the numbers you posted from your union.. and thats for a journeyman.. You make 70-75% of what a journeyman makes..
Which is roughly 56938.44 after taxes
So... based on the numbers YOU gave me.. adding in an extra hour per week (you said 39.. i used 40 for the calculations) You make a lot less than you originally stated..
