yeah sorta...but simpler...and a whole lot cheaper...like a box...you just plug everything into...and the BOX auto-configures everything...but again...this is all outta my ideas range...this is for you young folks to think up...

The point is still the same...there's plenty of talent on these forums...if you guys worked together...I'm sure you'd come up with something that would sell like hotcakes.

Its not that we can't, its just a completely different direction. It would be redesigning an old item probably already patented into something new. A prototype would need to be made. Its not like starting a business where you make money right away. This is design something from the cb to the firmware to the casing. Its a huge time and money sink for a possible return on investment.

bro when I was younger, I at diff times ran a Custom Wiring Harness company....a Custom cabinet Shop....all by myself...it's hella easy to run ur own business...I been there done that ^^

Well that's the point of this post...to own and run a business. The Wiring harness one was easy....cheap inventory and lotta companies would buy from me...coz I was cheaper...once I even did a job for Broderbund lol

Im just saying that making something as complex as an auto setup av box is not simple.

I know bro...but you don't START with that...the broderbund contract I did was for 500 50 pair crossover cables with a 2' x 3' aluminum break-out box so they could get at each of the 100 wires...they were 36" long and I sold them for 16.75 each....parts were little under $8

Sat in fornt of TV at home....makin them up....they were so impressed with my work....the head honcho took me out to lunch...and then told other head honchos of other companies..that I did good work...delivered on time and was cheaper than the other guy ....after about a year and a half I had to close shop or hire ppl...and I didn't want to do that.
