Looking to get a new TV when i get my refund. my budget is ~$1000
im debating also between getting a TV for the living room, and a TV to game (xbox) and use my PC on (to watch movies and etc), or just spending the whole budget on 1 nice TV for the living room (and mind you i have a fiance so there will be very little to no gaming done on it).
thinking of doing the vizio 50" P or M series + 32" vizio M series (between wal-mart and best buy they will come out to about $1000 for the M+M series, or $1100 for the P+M series), or just getting the 60" M series.
ive been looking online for deals, but wal-mart has a roll back going on for the 50" P series of $698, and best buy has the 50" M series for $599, both prices either beating tigerdirect, or tiger just doesnt have those in stock right now.
both wal-mart and best buy have the 32" M series for $299 with free store pick up same day, tiger has it for $325, with shipping its $340 and i have to wait, so if i go the 2 TV route ill just pay tax and pick it up same day.
I went to wal-mart the other day and the 50" P series looks amazing, im really digging it, they had the M series but it wasnt turned on, so i didnt get to see that in person.
will not get the 55" P series, do not want the IPS screen with lower contrast ratio, also will not get the 49" or 55" M series because both of those have the IPS screen instead of VA.
was thinking about the samsung 6350 series (50-55"), do not want the lower 6203 series due to how bulky it is (saw this in person the other day) and it looks cheap.
basically asking opinions on the 50" P/M series vs the 60" M series, is it worth it to just get the bigger set for $1K? or opinions on another brand with the same type of quality.
things im looking for:
Fast refresh rate, lots of sports will be watched on this, with as little blur as possible.
low input lag (the P series has a 2.0 HDMI slot that lowers the input lag to 19.3ms, granted ill hardly ever be able to game on it, but I like the option)
motion interpolation is a must
good black and gray uniformity
do NOT want:
edge lit
vizio E series (all sizes looked like shit when i saw them in person, i even tried adjusting the settings personally)
anything under 50" for my main TV, or 32" for my gaming TV if i choose to get 2.
trying to steer clear of the IPS screen
please and thank you

edit: just did some investigating and getting the P series at wal-mart is actually a lower class model (P502UI-B1e). the E is the difference between 120Hz 480 clear motion and 240Hz 960 clear motion (P502UI-B1)
so i guess it would actually be $1200 for the P+M series vs $1000 for the M+M series.. worth the extra $200?
