I have an 870 supermag express. Love that thing. If I had a choice I'd either get the supermag or a benelli supernova. What do you plan on doing with it?

just a range shotgun. maybe some tactical fun in the desert with a little tac setup. ofc it will mount on the wall for home defense, but shotguns don't need to be picky for that.

Well those are a shit ton of broad ranges each requiring their own style of shotgun if you wanted to get technical. I also wouldn't mount my gun on my wall. I'd probably hide it some wheres no one knows forbid the day.

So which it is. Home defense. Range and clay fire? Migrant bird? Waterfowl? Pheasant? Varmin gun? Perhaps dear season for that 3 1/2 mag.

Mine is solely for the purposes of survival. Im not crazy or a doomsday prepper, but i have disposable income and its a hobby i enjoy. So, ill throw a pistol grip on it, hollow stock etc. Get the maximum amount of uses so it can sit under my bed and never be touched again

i dont hunt, it would be strictly for shooting clays out in the desert/mountains, maybe a small tac setup like i said, and stored at home for self defense. but to be honest i'll probably be grabbing my beretta px4 first if i hear an intruder.

i've shot the mosberg500 plenty to know that i love it. certainly a much better operation then say the remmington 870.

The mossberg 500 is garbage compared to a well maintained 870. The 870 is also the highest selling shotgun ever made.

Plus I found cool zombie shit like this.

sorry sir, but when i worked at Brink's i loaded and unloaded an 870 daily, carried on truck daily, as well as routine range practice. i can say i like the mosberg 500 much better in it's operation and feel, and be justified.

oh, and we had several types. wood stock, collapsable, pistol grip ( both with and without stock ), etc. i can still say, i don't like the 870 as much as the 500.

well yeah, but benelli's price tags are a little tough for a lot of people to justify for home defense.

I carried the Mossberg 500 in combat on my first tour. I can't say it's garbage thinking about on it. We beat the shit out of it and it still worked. Also being left handed and left eye dominate, the ambidextrous aspects were nice. I go hunting a lot though and I love my 870. Everything feels smooth and well made.

Though I think I have a problem with my extractor pin. :(
