WOW !!

Just got my 1st infection ever...yes it was from some pr0n site....made my whole screen white....then popped up this fake FBI thing...that said: We just locked your computer...unless you pay us so much...we will not unlock it.

I tried task manager...no help...tried restart comp, no help....Broke out my Acronis True Image Home 2010 Boot CD....booted from it...overwrote my C: partition with an April 4th backup...voila...no more infection.

Too many easy ways to quit.

/e and Idk about where he lives but they offer treatment free in NYS.
