IMO the best desk is one of two things:
1) Purely for the keyboard, mouse, and monitor(s). No concern about desk space for working purposes, such as loose paper.
or
2) A desk for productivity and work, that supports a 270 degree work environment. Such a desk curves at the perfect semi circular angle, without curving too sharp or not sharp enough. The underpart has nothing in the way of foot movement. The edge where the arm/wrist may be placed is gradual and supports the arm as best as possible. The desk can accommodate up to 6 screens hypothetically stacked 3 on 3, and still have room for an equal amount of paperwork on two sides. Depth of the desk is such that the further part of the desk is just beyond arm's reach while sitting, but not much further. Height ideally would be adjustable but if not, the keyboard stand should be built under the desk and be fully adjustable. Desk colour shouldn't be too dark nor too light, as both have drawbacks. Important things to go with a desk include a swivel multi monitor stand, and ideally a good drawer setup such that it doesn't get in the way of fully utilizing the desk space, while also being within reach without issue. Wiring shouldn't be an issue as long as the desk has at least one reasonable cutout at the back not much needed.
The chair is equally important. And the material used to support the chair movement. Big feature I like is lockable wheels, what i would love is to be able to increase wheel resistance so they are semi locked but not 100%.
