Depends on the game. D2 ladder was awesome. The quest for 99 is a time investment worth doing once if you have a history with the game like the majority of us do.

I've never had a 99. Don't think I leveled past 95 or w/e. Got up to 80 something in classic.

This sucks. I keep remaking my damn Neverwinter Nights characters. I can't find one and stick with it. I find flaws I don't like and make a new one. Two weeks of this now. What the heck?!

You could always play runescape, RS3 or OSRS both have an "iron man" mode where you can only use resources you gain by yourself! You can also chat with other players however!
