I dont know whether to upgrade to windows 10 or get gtx 1080 first. Ive already got 1080p monitors (if that makes a difference)

Isn't it more fair to compare a 1080 to the 980 not the ti version?
980 to 1080 is a massive gain in performance.

Fine to know what its like compared to a top card, but really it's a replacement for a 980, not a 980ti.
To see real performance increase compare to a 980 cause you know 1080ti is coming.
