Alright so I just need something cheap

Do you recommend I drop 5 bucks on a plug in mic and 20$ on some headphones

or

~30$ on a headset

When we're talking about such low end products would it be better to get a headset for convenience?

Basically up to you. Won't make much of a difference either way.

They're actually very comfortable. The mic isn't THAT good though, but it's alright.

I owned them for a while back in teh day.

Best 5 headphones on CNET. I can agree with the Klipsch S4 at #1. Shure's @ #2 seem fantastic.

What's Bose doing there though :S

Yes, that's a shame that bose is on that list, it makes it lose all credibility.
I confirm, the shure's are really good. I own them and the only thing that I feel that is missing is bass impact. I don't feel the need to upgrade for a little while.

By the way, I just bought a new source for my sound system. Rega P3 with a audiotechnica entry-level cartridge paire with a cambridge 640p :D

BEST TV ON THE MARKET ATM IS LED: http://reviews.cnet.com/flat-panel-tvs/sharp-elite-pro-60x5fd/4505-6482_7-35004013.html?tag=contentMain;contentBody;1r

This is the first time since 2008 an LED has been the best TV you can buy, according to CNET.

In case any one didn't know, Sharp bought the rights to use the "elite" badge that Pioneer used for its TVs, back in the day when they made the best TVs.

CNET says the Sharp Elite LED tv has the best picture quality of any TV... Since 2008. Because the Pioneer Elite Kuro PRO-111FD plasma from 3 years ago is STILL the best TV ever made..

So an overall second place isn't bad. this naturally comes with 3D and all other modern bells and whistles.

Comes in 60" and 70" and costs $4500 and $6700.

its also the second HDTV to ever get a 10 on performance, the first being the Pioneer Elite Kuro.
