I will buy a 13th gen or 14gen, but I will never buy an Alder Lake chip because Intel didn't think it through. The Intel i9-12900K only supports up to 128gb of DDR5 RAM and then they put 4 RAM slots on their z690 motherboards. DDR5 is going to have 128gb sticks. It's not that I really ever need more than 32gb of RAM; however, if I'm going to be an enthusiast and go balls out — my board better be able to utilize all 4 of my 128gb DDR5 RAM sticks!
