The ROG Strix Scar III is the best bang for your buck there and is WAY more than overkill for football manager and gfx. You could probably get a laptop for around $1200 that could do that, but that thing would do anything you threw at it.

Do you want 4k or do you want 144hz+ monitors? (gfx tend to like 4k better?), I can take a look to see if I can find something cheaper and still suits your needs

Basically the way I buy laptops is, buy something super powerful (My Alienware is 6 years old now, at the time was one of the most powerful gaming notebooks on market) I only had 1 issue with it (last year that was hot-fixed for $45 but now if I use non-integrated gfx card it gets hot and screen of death comes), before that I still could play witcher 3 on medium-high without issues, so I don't mind paying $2 or even $6k if that laptop will serve me 5-10 years and be able to chew through everything that comes out in that time, for example when Elder Scrolls 5 come out Id want to experience it in 4k/ultra

Sounds like a heating problem if anything on your current laptop. Have you considered just looking at getting the heatsink replaced, or are you soul set on getting a new laptop? The heatsinks usually run from $80-120 to replace.

For monitors, you would need to decide whether or not you want 144hz or 4k, you can't have both. And to be frank, you're most likely going to run into the same issues as your current laptop with a new laptop at some point (throttling due to heat). That's the bottle neck of almost all gaming laptops. Some cards are more tolerant to heat, but running 144hz/4k while playing Skyrim at ultra.. some desktops struggle to perform that.

Yes it is heating issues for sure, but don't think there is a point in starting to replace parts - 6 years imo a good run for a laptop, would also have to get new card for it -
was changing thermal paste recently, can see dark grey "burn mark" around gfx card chip (on the green plastic), I am thinking of grabbing an extra cooling station that attaches to the bottom with new laptop just so when something new comes out that catches my interest it has extra support to deal with the heat, just hate desktops in general - good ones are extremely heavy and I live in 3 different locations over the span of the year and constantly shipping it/or taking it with me is not something Id like to do. Thanks for advice.
