Might just go 1080 Ti SLI for the price of the 2080 Ti. I was thinking of 2080 Ti SLI sometime but maybe not.

How about that ray tracing though?

1080tis

How do you like dual 1080 ti?

I was looking into that but I think I'll get the 2080 ti that I wanted so I can have the option to SLI if I ever want to. Also it seems SLI still isn't fully supported and SLI comes with microstuttering in the form of frames rendered too long on screen.

Most frames should render on and off screen in 10 milliseconds but SLI constantly shows rendering times of up to 50 milliseconds which is noticeable during gameplay.

(It shows it on the rendering graphs)

I thought about this all last night and I'd like the ability to SLI in the future if I ever had to. I think I'll get the 2080 ti.

Thanks for your input everyone.

Null - dont get blower style; they're loud and inefficient if you have any degree of case flow.

I really havent had microstuttering issues since 200 series and that was brief

been sli since 8600gt lol

did sli on 8800gtx,250gts,gtx260, gtx460, gtx560ti, gtx670, gtx970, 1080tis and i have done on others too but those were short lived flips
surround user pretty through all those too

sli is pretty much only benefitting at higher resolutions now days (almost better for most to safe the money for next gen down the line) and some games having an AA variant on can hurt performance into the negatives for scaling
some games you use others profiles(sometimes the right profile too a rainbow six game has issue of using wrong profile because they share same exe), many reviews say horrible things but I usually find a fix but then again I have been playing pretty much a couple games now cause new games suck for most part anyways lol

I will not recommend sli to anyone now days unless they like tinkering or benchmarking
