curved is a gimmick, no matter the size.
Better off just buying multiple displays.

Only benefit is this so called immersion which works just as well with multi displays.

I don't like the bezels or messing with multiple monitors to get stuff going.

What's a, good gaming monitor? I haven't kept up with having crap since 2013/2014.

No bezels >

Try sitting directly in front of a large flat TV like 55"+, curved benefits at larger sizes

If your 12 inches away from a screen 55inches is fucking retarded to have.

I mean the larger you go the farther the display should be, you can only focus on so much screen at one time.
bezels kinda vanish as well after some time cause once again your focus is center screen, not far right left.

basic 24-27 inch is fine then imo.
no need for ultra wide or curved or anything super large if your sitting in front of it.

I think you come from more of a gamer background so that makes sense in your use case

For content creation, coding, etc, a large panel directly in front of you is awesome. I'm waiting for 8k TV prices to drop so I can grab one to use for work
Can have multiple VMs, remote desktop sessions, etc all up without having to toggle or minimize/maximize boosts my productivity. I have a setup with a flat 43" 4k monitor directly in front of me and another with a 49" 5Kx1440p curved and prefer the curved because it looks more natural on the sides. Though I prefer the extra vertical real estate of 2160p more. 8k will be the best of both

Maybe get another 27" then. That should be plenty. As for bezels, they are getting much, much smaller.

I switched back to a 27 inch and it was the best decision I have made in a little bit computer wise.

No need to go bigger unless you're doing some form of production work or want to avoid bezels with multiple displays

It's a 60 hz ips. I want to sell it when I get my new monitor and only use one.

This is the best I could find in the 27" dept. (smallest bezel, 144hz, IPS, gsync)

https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16824106004

They do make some ~24" with almost zero bezel... just Google: Frameless monitors
