well. my best stable OC is 5.235 during stress tests like cinebench. but as mentioned in a separate thread, i've dialed this back due to the season.

the highest aisuite III has taken this chip is 5.4, but it was jittery even in bios. i did not stress test that setting and just reset it.
delidding, i kind of want to do even if only for the experience of doing so. i am in debate over this though. it seems i got a rather decent silicone lottery pick on this chip.
if i could be running stable @ 5.3 all year long, with idles @ 32C and under... i could be wrong, but i think i really did kind of win the lotto with this one, would hate to ruin that on accident.

What chip? I mean hell my 5960x at 1.315v runs at 35-40 idle on a 60 mm thick rad. Don't worry so much about idle Temps. Stress it and if it's reaching high 80s drop it back a smidge and send it

5.235 was @ 1.35 volts. during light usage it's rare for me to see anything in the 40's. even now when my heat vent is literally dumping on my case.
i would give more info about this, but i'm currently running stock since the ram switch yesterday. so i can't truly verify any further numbers atm.
i can perform other tasks if you have an idea that better tests the chip.
