In the past I've owned and actually used a 4GB 480 for 6 months and it was great, It hustled every game at 1080P high fps just fine and the built in wattman overclocker is awesome.


The only reason I got rid of it was because I flipped a it for $300 during the crypto craze and got a 980 ti and a few bucks in my pocket



I also baked a 7970 backed to life for fun and it performed roughly equal to a 1050 but the driver support was also still really good, It even included the ability to use Re-Live on a 6 year old card which was surprising

It'd be a terrible buy if I were upgrading from a 580 or similar card to a 590. Not a bad buy if I'm completely out of a video card and the 590 beats out the 1060 for the same price.
