yeah the go should be plenty for school work, but make sure u get the 8gb version

the pro has bigger screen tho, and usb-a + mini displayport... go is stuck with only 1 usb-c =/

The item itself was $491 (this is the 8gb non-LTE version) with my student discount. The keyboard and other gadgets don't come with that, but the overall purchase was like 300 dollars cheaper than pro. It isn't like I need it for anything other than books/office or just basic browsing. It'll be great in the classroom. Most of my professors allow it in graduate school.
I also figured out that I can use microsoft office on the the cloud without actually purchasing a license. This works great too.
