Not sure, I would imagine all keyboard manufacturers are different depending on included buttons; I've seen ones without a widows key, some with an additional function key, etc...

they do use non standard but many places sell including ebay
he just needs to look some even give sets for both
my old browns blue backlit had non standard too, found many places for other sets
