I'd strongly advice against buying blind without any prior experience in this hobby if possible. Gain experience and establish reference points by trying out as many headphones as possible at meets, shows or shops. There's also loaner programs available several places. This way you'll learn about your own preferences that you can then apply to given reference points for further online guidance if need be. People hear differently and have different preferences so chances are you'll be mislead without doing this.

Also, don't buy M1060 just because it's on sale. If you end up not liking it then it's money wasted instead of saved. And even if you liked the M1060 you still might've been able to get something even better suited to your taste. Buy the M1060 because you've listened to it and liked it or because you deem it worth a shot based on feedback from people who have been provided with the necessary information to give you guidance. Neither is applicable in this case.

Each driver technology has its own advantages and disadvantages but I wouldn't worry about that for now.

While I might not advocate buying anything blind, I must say your time should be valued to an extent and researching the matter might take a lot of time.

I know Bubs was joking, but there is truth to what he said.
