Can't be vague yet thats exactly what you have done.

Realistically no one can help you atm, I mean you haven't provided any info as to what your needs are.
You gave us a budget with absolutely no idea of your internal network, number of devices, and your service speeds.

Though with that said I'm sure a AC 1750 router will more then meet your needs otherwise I'd expect
you to have a better understanding of your network and what you require.

Google has plenty of buying guides for routers.

i see what you mean. this because i don't really know what is important when it comes to buying one and what is not. the factors and so on..
number of devices: 1 stationary computer, 1 macbook pro, 2 iphones.
i've got 100mbit up / 100mbit down. Is there anything else I can provide? :)

Normally we would like to know at what frequency those devices operate at, 2.4/5ghz.
you don't have a smart tv? will there be guests on the network? how far the signal has to reach?

but as I stated earlier and from what you have outlines thus far it will more then meet your needs.

/edit
oh and how many walls/floors it will have to penetrate.

how can i figure out at what frequency they operate at? never really familiarized myself with this stuff sadly :/
my tv is not a smart tv but i plan on getting one soon because i've been renovating my room and it's been modernized. only the tv to go

guests will be there occasionally ofc and as how far it will have to reach? i don't really know. before I always had the router in my room to get best signal and it still gave signal all the way to our balcony and kitchen without problems but I guess ideally it would have to be placed in the hallway or livingroom for maximized reach

so conclusion being? :)

edit: 1-2 walls if it's in my room, 1 if it's in the hallway or livingroom

Just get that router.

Your place is small and I'll assume thin walls cause its an apartment and not of large wall bearing walls or appliances/machines to interfere.
Would need to look up specs of each device but the router suggested supports both frequencies along with ur current speeds and so much more.
Will handle several more devices with ease as well.

Great!
Well our apartment is not particularily small.
measurements are 850 sq ft + balcony

And what about ASUS RT-AC1200 vs ASUS RT-AC1200G+ ?

your apartment is small vs the size of most houses and yards.
are the ones listed much cheaper or something?

/edit
looking at specs those will suffice though I'd still opt for the one suggested can't really beat that deal.

they are not cheapER, theres definately cheaper on the maarket but this one stood out & has good reviews.. but im wondeirng if it would be overkill for what gives or if it's just right..

i also see it as an investement so im fine with putting like 110-120bucks or so on it because i'm planning on having it for many years.
the dir-615 i have now that died on me i've had for way too long and it more or less did wonders and it was only 40 bucks or so :p

soo what's the dealio do i need to add anything or you say i should stick with the rt ac 1200?

I'm still in favor of the one originally suggested.
Its better all around and cheaper according to you.

Yes that router or any 1750 one as stated prior.
TP-link is a reputable brand.
1750 is > than 1200.

You just told us you don't mind spending more for better but seem to have difficulty spending less for better.
