They probably don't have it in the DSL port on the nid. You have a dedicated jack now so it must be there. Or yes they fucked up and put you on pots at co.

I worked installation and repair for years. Pretty common to not release DSL at the co.

Blue white should be in the DSL port at the nid. However you need a terminal wrench to get in.

Line tests show bandwidth on each line, testing at the rj11 phone jack near the modem. As this is a bonded setup, I have 2 data jacks at the nid, taking 2 dsl lines from isp and routing into 1 line to the phone jack.

At the nid, the drop has two dsl lines, with a green and red wire in each line. These feed into two xdsl pots splitters (no landline on house). My cat5 hooks orange orange/white to one, and blue blue/white to the other. I am not clear on if my solid wire goes to their green or their red.

The other end of the cat5 feeds up to a rj11 phone jack, and then phone line into the modem. Two dsl lines from the drop, into 1 cat5 phone line to the modem. I wired my phone jack according to ghots picture. Not sure if it's fucked up at the nid (again, my solid to their green or red?) Or if something else is messed up between my house and isp.

I think that's the CAT6 color code...

/e When I looked at your pic, it looked like the pairs were blu-wht and wht-blu etc. When I google Cat5 to rj11, I got the first color code. When I googled Cat6 to rj11 I got the 2nd color code.
Whatever google thinks...if you have blue/blu-wht and orange/ora-wht, this should work.

Feel free to.

Ghot obviously wants to help, is overall polite and is online all the time. He might not be the most knowledgeable and is stubborn at times but he helps many noobs. That can't be a reason to get banned if malevolent trolling for months doesn't get JohnMiller banned.

There's a no from me.

Thanks ghot, appreciate your time and efforts

All that work testing wires and my ISP just calls me, tells me they have a bad blade at the office, which they replaced and asked me to test again. Everything working now... fuck!
