I just spent 700$ alone on the GTX 1080TI , and it can barely run High settings @ 60 fps. Direct X11

a 700$ laptop with maybe Gtx1060 ( if lucky ) will give you maybe 43-48 FPS on high Direct X11
maybe 60fps on Old DirectX9 graphics. Which shows crappy water/blood/ground/dirt/dust/fire animations ect.

Most 2018 gaming laptops come with
GTX 1050/1060/1070 , and its rare to see 1080 still yet.

If your looking for medium/high settings on direct X 11 I recommend at least a GTX 1070
Probably around $1,000 right now, but 4th of july sales are in like a month and a half... so you could probably pick up a really good one for around 750-800$

I have a 1070 in my laptop and it struggles a little bit on high with a bunch of party members (tons of animations). Perfectly fine solo tho
