went for the xps 13 bcuz i couldnt wait after all XD

came in today and feels very good. it gets kinda hot when using it with hearthstone but maybe that is because windows was updating in the background.

I've modded my XPS to be lower and quieter.
Better thermalpaste and thermalpads on some MOSFETs.
Also ThrottleStop is quite amazing. like -100-120mv on core and cache and -75mv on onboard GPU.

FHD > UHD for 13" specially if it's not for image editing. And touch imo is a gimmick on a laptop.

Super happy with my Gigabyte Aero 14, I don't think it technically hits every mark for an ultrabook but it has been a great laptop so far

Really liked my Asus Zenbook Prime too, still have it, 13.3" screen and has served me well for almost 5 years, but the newer Asus Zenbooks all have mediocre graphics (which I specifically wanted) so I went with the Aero

MAAAAN US just got the Huawei Matebook X Pro at a favorable price (300$ gift card also). Can't even be bought in EU yet...

If I could I would buy one right here right now.

Exactly. Everything is on point!
3000x2000 450nits display and the most amazing speakers you will find in an ultrabook (quad speakers with two on the top)
Smallest bezels on any laptop yet (91% screen-to-body ratio).
web-cam is hidden in the keyboard so it will be black when not in use (I have disabled my web-cam in BIOS on my Dell XPS for security reasons)
Thinner and smaller than macbook 13", even tho this is an 13.9" display.
Quad Core CPU and even a decent discrete GPU (MX150). The NVMe SSD they use are one of the fastest on the marked.

Also small details like able to open the screen with one hand, like on macbooks.
One thing i still want clarifed is if they use PWM in their monitors to control brightness. I haven't seen any flickering on youtubes reviews, which means they at least don't under 250hz.

We can discuss they copy Apple's Macbooks. But they take the best parts and add their own things. Like how freaking awesome is it with an USB-A on such a thin device! I still use a USB-A mouse and I would hate to carry around an adapter hub.

Finally some detailed testing. There is no PWM at all on this machine!
Also it even scores 1 point higher than the new Dell XPS 15 9370.

Getting one when it arrives in DK.
