1080p above 23" on regular aspect ratio starts to not look retina; aka you can easily distinguish between pixels if you are only a couple feet from your monitor.

Twisted Nematic. It's a type of panel used but it's old technology.



As they have said, what you want is an IPS panel. I've had one since 2012 and I love it to death. Best looking monitor I've ever had.
