doesn't alexa only have stereo sound?
least my echo does.
In which case surround sound will actually be extended 2.1 not true surround.
Hmm, I am not sure. I am pretty noob at speakers. I bought a 5.1 logitec surround for my PC and it's pretty decent though and was like 60 bucks haha. So anything will probably amuse me. My 7.1 yamaha I bought used a few years ago because my coworker helped me find a good set for cheap.
Maybe I'll just get like a 2.1 cheaper set just for fun.

Dang, really? I wonder if I can get any recommendations for 300 or less with at least a 5.1 with good bass and bluetooth ready.
Need to raise the budget to $1500 or so. If you can find a good deal on a pair that's $1500 with partial half off (around $600), that should work as well.
Good luck!

Thanks man. Yeah for 1500 I'd use them for my theater room lol
Or if I had 1500 I'd probably buy a 70 inch TV for my livingroom haha

Yeah unfortunately true audio equipment is at least a grand probably lol
I am on a budget and I hear these are on a good sale. Normally 400+ I think
Still no, those "setups" suck even for their price point. You are better of getting good 2.0/2.1 setup instead of worrying about surround. You can always upgrade on the road if you feel like it.
I personally would look for this combo:

With either of these if you reall like to have sub:

You can have good 5.1 setup for ~800-1000$.

Wish Canadian prices/dollar were better, I'd probably buy that receiver myself.
shits like 100 USD to ship alone then duties and 13% tax, 30% dollar difference, fml.
