I'm currently selling my whole PC system in parts even monitors etc.
Haven't been playing much games lately and the price on GPU, RAM, and even CPU's in my country are through the roof currently, so it seems to be the perfect time to sell.
Probably going to do a new build later this year with Intel's first 10nm architecture (probably called Cannon Lake) for desktop, GTX 2080ti, 32GB RAM, monitor 165HZ+, HDR, Gsync and maybe ultrawide wide.
And this time I most likely will play with custom hardtube watercooling, Also I'm not really a fan of RGB or anything but white lighting actually.

Really unsure what color scheme I should go for. Also what kind of coolant type. So i made this thread to see your votes.

other
brown
mudbutt cooled

I was planning to go loop hence my case/etc

but after ryzen's hard stop on infiinity fab around 4ghz
and intel and nvidia plan to follow emib and mcm
I'm wondering if overclocking will be completely limited to the multi chip design
plus nvidia locks their shit up so much
intel practically stretches cards to their limit now
only point now I just cooler temps which most do fine on air and/or with delid

What do you base this claim on? This limitation is present on all ryzen cpu's even those that don't utilize mcm. It was my understanding that infinity fabric operates on a different clock than the core, that its bandwidth was based on dram speed. There's no way infinity fabric could be viable for epyc if its choking at 4ghz on smaller chips, and it wouldn't explain why all different sizes of chips are capping out at the same clock speed when they're sporting that much less throughput.

overclocking is silicone lottery in someone that knows what they are doing

add a chip to another chip brings the odds of having hit the silicone lottery harder, per core overclocking prolly be the way then like many i9 users are doing now its just going to needed then when mulitple lottery odds are stacking up against you simple maths?
