yeah I just looked into what the difference in 4k/tn/ips actually is. and i'm actually happy with the TN panel that is coming with the laptop standard.

If for some reason down the line I change my mind, I could just install an IPS pretty easily.

I think you would be happiest with a 1920x1080 IPS panel on your laptop. Like this...

I won't even do 4k on a 27. Need 30" imo. It's perfect at that res.

Lol right.

@OP 4k on a small screen is awful. Everything will be the size of a penhead. I can't imagine 4k on a 15/17" screen. The user interface will be made for ants.
