Samsungs / Sonys / Vizios typically always had the lowest input lag up to 2 years ago - I bought my oled and haven't kept up with input lag anymore, but plenty of resources on internet where people test specific models

cant categorize input lag on a TV by brand alone. each model is different. it can vary as much as 40 ms or more between models.

what console?

if ps4 pro/ new xbox just get a 60hz 4k uhd tv.

Just a normal ps4, not the newer pro upgrade consoles they just released. I'm hooking that and like 6 older systems up to the tv for casual gaming and for the occasions my girlfriend actually wants to play games.

for input lag, lookup on rtings or maybe some other sites to see what they tested. lower is better.

many TVs now have a "game" mode to change it to, which can significantly lower input lag

Yes, the game mode is a big thing that's helped me on certain systems. But low input lag is definitely the one thing I'm looking for, it's just that not every manufacturer displays that information.

But I will check out that rtings site
