When i right click it, the only option that comes up is New Simple Volume.

New Simple Volume will work. That's like a preliminary question to formatting.

Choose: New Simple Volume. That will let you format it.

If the format gives you the options...choose...

Primary partition, NTFS, and default cluster size.


...then click OK or Apply...w/e. Then give it a drive letter.

That was totally it, i didn't want to potentially ruin anything lol. thanks for the help!

Now give it a drive letter, then you can use it.

Bumped into this problem last week at work, just click on new spanned volume then it will give u option to assign letter
