the FTC should get involved with this. That presumably automatic dynamic price gouging crap (which needs to go because it fucks with people all the time, usually just not as blatantly as this) and the 2 biggest retailers fixing the price to something bizarre and outlandish has to be a violation of something

well it should probably be addressed, a 50,000% mark-up hurts everyone, the retailers, the consumers, intel, there is no conceivable way this is better than allowing stock to run out.

i have never seen this is severe, i've seen older gen wacom tablets no one wants anymore and stuff marked up outlandishly by 300%-400% when stock gets low for some inconceivable reason, and then they stay at that stock forever because they're only hurting their sales.
