SeaSonic - FOCUS Plus Gold 650W 80+ Gold Certified Fully-Modular ATX Power Supply
Whenever you replace a motherboard... you have to make sure of a couple things.
1. Always use the I/O panel that comes with the motherboard. It's about 2" by 5" long, it';s where all the stuff hooks to the back of your comp.
2.
Always make sure the power connections to the motherboard (24 pin and 8 pin) are in all the way. Sometimes they don't get seated all the way down, and can give you weird problems like you're having.IF the Seasonics power connectors weren't seated all the way...it could cause the problem you're having. Put the Seasonic back in, and make sure the 8 and 24 pin connectors are seated all the way....there should be a clip that locks into place.
Seasonic makes the best power supplies. Most other companies use Seasonic guts, in their top of the line power supplies.
There is an off chance that you got a bad PSU, but I doubt it, especially from Seasonic.
Also remember to make sure the connections on the power supply end are seated all the way too.
When we try to make the wires look nice...sometimes we can wiggle the connectors loose, on the power supply end or the motherboard end.
/e If it does turn out to be a bad power supply, you can probably just return it to w/e you bought it, for replacement. (like Newegg gives you 30 days for example) At worst, you'll have to RMA to Seasonic.
If you do have to return to Seasonic, ask them about advanced replacement...like where they send you a new one...THEN you send them the bad one.
