Speed isn't everything.
Your probably experiencing latency/connection issues hence your ping jumping to stupid levels.

here you can read this if you care to learn a bit.

If you're using multiple devices, Could try getting a modern router that automatically adapts 2.4 and 5ghz which helps massively with interference.

Or else get a new router anyway if yours sucks.

Or could try shit like a WiFi booster if you aren't in close proximity to the router.

Or else watch videos at lower quality.

Also reset your router as a first step ofc if you haven't already by unplugging it and modem (remove battery if either has one) and plugging back in after 30 seconds.

And as a final step, just either either find a way to switch back to wired or else get faster internet, or just stop watching videos while playing games that require good ping.

I’ve got the 2.4 5 dual band router
What’s a WiFi booster?
I’ve reset it- no luck
I have my office room upstairs and the router has to be down by the cable box. I have full strength signal and a good speed test, so it just doesn’t make sense as to why it’s lagging
