why would you spend $100 on a pair of headphones that's so excessive..

$50 to $100 range please.

My legacy Koss ESP-9's that were going on for 25+ years finally dead last night

The ones I'm temporary using (my mom's) are: https://www.amazon.com/JVC-HARX700-Precision-Sound-Headphones/dp/B0013OWPV4

I love them, but my ears are too big for even the JVC's. I'm trying to find a pair with very comfortable over the ear pads (for big foreheads & ears) too. Doesn't need to include a mic

Thank you :)

Got any pics?

Electrostatic headphones are badass. What do you power them with?

Sennheiser HD598 SE regularly go on sale on black friday on amazon, for about $95-$99. I think that's the best bang for the buck you can get at that pricepoint.

Saw the Philips SHP9500's and almost bought them but I heard they are not closed in the back (open air, can still hear family member yelling, etc). Need something just like those but closed in the back to shut off most sounds
