Ok will be back home to work on this on Sunday. So far I've updated all drivers manually. As for the mobo drivers, I don't have a dvd drive so it's still a "factory version". I guess I could try switching SATA ports, some guy in the windows thread said his ports weren't all SATA even if it was advertised as such lol.

Some pics from BIOS
Getting worse every day, now it was on for like 10 minutes, only light browsing and media player was on, crashed but stayed on without being able to shut it off from the power button. Had to turn it off from the power switch in the back.

You may very well have a bad drive.
Or you've corrupted the OS.

Have you reinstalled from scratch yet?
If not I'd start there if so I'd scan the drive itself with something like HD Tune.
(be advised if you scan your drive and its failing it may die, back up first)

Been going steady for 3 days now during normal usage, solution seemed to be switching the SATA port. Will bump if the problem persists, but so far thanks everyone. :)
