gtx 1060 3gb is descent for 1080p gaming

He wouldn't hit 60 frames on max settings in witcher

My big fear with changing gpu would be fitting it in. Have a micro atx mobo and tower. Didn't think that through when building it. The 1060 just fits so of the cards were any bigger it may be an issue

Would I be able to be not max but pretty high and 60? Idk if $500 is worth making one game maxed.

Though I would eventually love to play the rick and morty vr game again probably not worth tons of money. Have a rift dk2 a friend lent me

That's true. I'll probably wait to catch a good sale as long as it doesn't look like garbage for now I'll live but it would be nice to play really high. Would a regular 1080 do or would it have to be ti?
