virtualbox truly is a piece of shit, I can't even use it without several drivers on my host leaking memory inexplicably. The hours I spent troubleshooting that were truly wasted.
i also recommend vmware

Awesome. I've had pretty much no issues with vmware.
There is a tool you need to download in it to make your life much easier. Like copy and file transfer from virtual machine to another. But always a bunch of other features.
If I remeber right it's just called vmware tools.
