HD600 can be had for 250-300$ and that was just an example as he has good budget. HD598 will do great job as well for cheaper.

Be careful with the 598's. If they are open buds you will get a lot of leaking sound. If you live with any other people that make a lot of noise they might get annoying. I do for now and I use my beyerdynamic over them because I can't hear shit with them on. I have the 80 ohm because the 250 is overkill for my needs.

The bass on the beyer's are nice too. Unfortunately my budget was not 500 for headphones so I went with sub 200. I do have two pairs, though. Which I can swap out for different needs.
