Was trying to keep it under $350ish. Nice colors > fluidity to an extent, still don't want it to noticeably fuck up the picture when I'm playing.
The way I look at it, I'd rather play a game like Skyrim (remastered edition ofc) at 1440 and drop things like shadows and misc particles to stay at 60fps, than play at 1080 with all other specs maxed.
Seemed like 1440 started in the 27-30 inch range, that seems fine. Never really used an ultrawide but not opposed to the concept. I'm more concerned if 21:9 will become a normal resolution in 5 years and 16:9 will be where 4:3 is now.
