Huge spark arced across my motherboard when I was taking out a graphics card. Like blue arc level of power with a loud pop.

Computer didn't turn on at first *Shit bricks* cleared CMOS and it said "OVERCLOCK FAILED" the computer rebooted itself and the comp has been running fine since 2013.

That's why you buy a decent motherboard meant for overclocking so it has fail safes against random currents going where they shouldn't.


Yes the computer was unplugged and i made sure to ground myself before i began, I forgot to hold down the power button on the comp to discharge everything from the system though which is what likely caused this.
