No I havent...I'm waiting on active advice. ..I have a feeling I can offer him like 800...now he's offering a 2nd monitor 24 in dell ips w speakers for a 100 bucks.....I bet I can get everything for like 900 bucks....I think I have kind of made my mind up...this is a good setup for me....I just want the advice on the offer I should make with the full package

550 at most for just the desktop, and still i wouldnt pay for that.
and paying ~400 for 2 rand monitors & mouse/kb isnt the way to go.

980 is essentially a 1060 with less vram.
~250 for cpu/mobo/ram
500gb hdd is worthless
600w psu will depend on the quality of it, but even then it will be less than $30 cuz u can get a new quality one for $40-50.

Thank you guys...I told him that I could offer 700 max...since there will be 2 monitors....I think it is worth it for that and will accomplish everything I need...this will leave me with 800 left to buy new desk and a ssd...maybe some other upgrades

Well we didn't consider the os and the tower and he said he could do it for 700 without any monitor...I've countered with an 800 offer with both monitors...I still think this will be worth it

if I was getting my first tower, I wouldn't even consider used, it's one of the few things you can still customize to exactly your tastes these days..
