Funny that they dont list AH-D600 at all. I have Fostex TH-X00 and AH-D600 has a lot more bass than them.

I think they take into account more than just 'out of the box' bass. They note on a few headphones there that they are good for up to +xxDB of extra bass with an EQ.

Pro700mkII's have meh bass, Untill you throw a little EQ on them & its just insane.

I forgot to mention they need to be available on Amazon. I have a gift card I would be using. :P

Thank you! I will look into it!

E: Do the Pro 700 mk II's have noise cancelling? I need to wear them on an airplane that I do not want to have people pissed off over leaking sounds.

I wish there was a way to listen to them without buying first :(

'passive' noise canceling, is just a term for a pair of headphones that are well isolated & Dont leak any sound in/out.

'active' noise canceling sends out an exact opposite sound wave to the ambient noise, canceling out noise around you.

Pretty much any decent closed headphone will keep people from hearing your music, Within reason.. As long as you arent 110% volume lol

There's a seller on ebay selling them for 175. ugh I wish it was amazon, because I have the gift card for there.

Might get JVC HA-MR77x
or V-MODA Crossfade M-100

Perhaps the Audio-Technica ATH-PRO700MK2

Not sure! Wish I can hear them each. :(

I just want something that I can throw on some good electric style music and listen to the bass.

If you get the pro700mkii's be prepared to throw an extra $30~ at it in new pads. The Stock pads are brutal on your ears.. pain like no other lol

Sometimes I will have it hooked up to my PC, sometimes through my phone or ipod.

Should I just get this? lol

I am so lost.

E: Is the 250 OHM one going to be a lot better? Some of the reviews say to just get the 80+ OHM pro versions.

80ohm is the limit to what i'd use for portable IMO.

Anything overthat is just overkill, The power requirement would just be stupid for on the go.

For phone/Ipod use, You'll want 16-32 ohm typically. Otherwise you wont be able to turn it up loud enough. Unless you get an amp, Or DAP.

Fiio's X1 is pretty good for a decent price.

I have an X1 :P

Actually bought it for my wife 2 years ago and she never used it. So I might just take ownership of it.

Would the X1 work well with 80 OHM's? Just tell me what to get that is amazing bass and sound cancellation and I'll be happy. :) I have like 10 tabs up right now with all different headphones. No idea which one to choose. Last time I bought one looking at price and reviews it was a HUGE let down. :(

Really depends on the phone & how loud you like listening to music.

x1 would do 80ohm easily.

they can do 250ohm pretty well, but It'd be nice to have a higher volume limit @ 250ohm though
