I would get the i7 and the 500GB flash storage (SSD), but that puts it at $2000

For that price you could do better with a PC.

MACs are nice, they work well, but compared to a PC...you will go broke with a MAC.
Yes, I understand what you are saying about the 4K screen.

Still think you would do better with a PC.

Like this...or similar...set PcPartpicker to UK. Due to brexit..things are cheap there atm.

Thanks for input! But you have to consider I have very little knowledge in assembling a computer. I don't mean that this fact rules out a PC, but maybe a PC from that site :/ It's sold in parts at the website you linked to as I understand it?

Yes, in parts. That's why they are cheaper.

Building a PC is fairly easy, just need a screwdriver and an LED flashlight.

Have a look at this...

I'm not gonna watch that right now but thanks for link. Will be helpful if I decide to buy in parts.

I just found this on a used-items website in Sweden:

It's about $2200, maybe this is the best option?

Processsor: 4,0 GHz Intel Core i7
Memory: 16 GB 1600 MHz DDR3
Graphics: AMD Radeon R9 M295X 4096 MB
Harddrive: 1,12 TB Fusion Drive

Watch the video and you'll see how easy it is to build a PC. The build I linked is still better.

You go from a $1500 iMac to a $400 POS?

I think you've been trolling us. :/

Someone posted in my last topic "buy the one that you can afford". What does that even mean? Even if I have money, that doesn't mean I want to spend more than necessary. If you think that $400 PC would work, then great for me :)
