Gives a whole new meaning to 'blow me'

Okay, so a little update. I kinda made something that did this



So, I got some packing Styrofoam- one of those large squares about 1 inch thick. I took a beer bottle and cut a ton of holes into it about 1inch apart (I cut 49, 7 down 7 up) and then I cut them all in the middle half way through so that they connect but don't fall apart.

Anyway, I put my PC on it's side where the side glass panel is- laid it ontop of it(Glass touching Styrofoam)- I took off the other side panel making the motherboard side exposed and put a $12 fan on it



So all the heat from the motherboard is being blowed away from me and my computer.

I had my PC originally about in the middle of my room, so it was spreading everywhere except the corners of my room- because I have a ceiling fan going full blast, now that it's in a corner and I'm in the center, it feels like im in a cooling vortex. Problem fixed.

Well, that's a good temporary solution ( I think). But without the casesa side panel, you will soon have a severe dust problem.

All that aside, if you can keep your "load" CPU core temps, at say 45C or less, you will be fine.
You should consider either cooling your room some or at the least getting a 3rd party CPU cooler.

An all in one water cooler or a larger and better air cooler will help. As others have said, the "heat" has to go somewhere, there isn't anything that will "remove" it.
The best you can do, is relocate the heat.
